About me

I’m Otto, a Bristol-based music producer and engineer specialising in vocal production and creative direction across genres such as Hip Hop and Grime. Alongside this, I work with indie artists and bands, bringing experience from both professional studios and adaptable DIY recording environments.

I’m currently in my final year studying Music Production & Music Business at BIMM Institute, where I’ve developed strong technical skills in recording, mixing, and studio operation, including hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment. My work spans everything from building tracks from scratch and producing beats to recording, mixing, and mastering finished records.

Beyond the studio, I run Mixed Bag Recordings, a small independent label focused on releasing music and creating opportunities for emerging artists. Through this, I organise live events and community-focused projects in Bristol, including rap cyphers and performance platforms that support the local scene.

I’m also a self-taught drummer and multi-instrumentalist, regularly performing and collaborating with artists such as Caden Stowe. My wider experience includes delivering music production workshops, engineering sessions in both professional and non-traditional spaces, and supporting creative development for a range of artists.

Ultimately, I’m driven by a passion for helping artists realise their ideas—whether that’s shaping a track from the ground up, refining a vocal, or creating spaces for music and culture to thrive.
